We are looking for volunteers to come and help us plant two garden beds by the park's front entrance on the morning of May 19th. Please bring work gloves and equipment if you have them, and be ready to get dirty in order to help beautify the park.

The planet of Venus will be visible as a small black sphere crossing the face of the sun starting at 5:04 pm until sunset on June 5th. The Friends of Big Foot Beach State Park will be hosting a viewing event on our beach to commemorate this historic occasion.
