Welcome to Big Foot Beach State Park
This 271-acre park on the shore of Geneva Lake in Southeast Wisconsin offers many natural and scenic experiences for outdoor enthusiasts of all ages. Outdoor activities at the park include wooded campsites, a sand beach, 6.5 miles of hiking trails through forest and open meadow, fishing and boating in Ceylon Lagoon, geo caching, a playground, horseshoe pits, a sand volleyball court, and a variety of picnic areas. In the winter the trails groomed for single track cross country skiing.
The Friends of Big Foot Beach State Park
The Friends of Big Foot Beach State Park was founded in the fall of 2005 by some like-minded local citizens who saw an opportunity to be stewards of a local natural treasure. Our members-based group is chaired by volunteers, and helps the park through grants, fundraising efforts, and volunteer work days. The Friends of Big Foot Beach State Park gathers monthly for organizational meetings in order to oversee supplemental park programs, projects, and events. Our Friends group is one of many State Park Friends Group in Wisconsin. The Friends of Wisconsin State Parks is a statewide network of citizen groups who have “adopted” state parks in order to support facility improvements, expand programs, and protect important natural state resources.
